ADD HOLSTEIN opens office in Innsbruck, Austria

The identification of unknown heirs knows no national borders. Of course, this sentence is not really true. Rather, one could say that the needs of heir tracing take no account of current borders. This is because the majority of the cases we deal with require research abroad. One important reason for this is the various border shifts in Europe in the 21st century. For example, our "German" research cases often have a connection to the former German regions of Silesia and Pomerania. In such cases, we have to search civil status registers on site in Poland and obtain certified copies of the documents found.

Foundation of the Austrian subsidiary in October 2024

It is not uncommon for our investigations to require research in Austria or in areas that formerly belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Such research abroad entails many hurdles. Knowledge of administrative structures, archive deadlines and regional particularities is essential - not to mention personal networking on the ground. We are therefore delighted that ADD HOLSTEIN Erbenermittlung has had its own office and subsidiary in Austria since October 2024. Our offices are centrally located in the old town of Innsbruck.

Expertise in heir tracing in Eastern Europe and the USA

Our local employees each have more than 10 years of experience in the field of professional heir tracing. They are now available with their knowledge to all interested persons and clients who require support in tracing heirs in Austria. The team in Austria also has extensive experience in international heir tracing. This mainly concerns searches in Eastern Europe, but also in the USA.
