The ADD HOLSTEIN Erbenermittlung GmbH is a joint creation of Jan-Mathis Holstein and ADD Associés.

We have employees in Berlin, Cologne and , since 2024, also in Innsbruck (Austria), who are available for you personally and on site. Without exception, all our employees have years of experience in dealing with unresolved probate cases and are experts in the field of heir tracing. At the same time, we have access to an unparalleled international network and state-of-the-art research facilities.

ADD Associés is one of the world's leading companies in the field of heir tracing and has 27 locations in France, a further 7 foreign offices and over 170 employees worldwide. ADD has unique databases and IT solutions. This cooperation enables us to conduct faster searches and achieve a higher success rate.

Jan-Mathis Holstein has deep roots in the industry. Before joining ADD HOLSTEIN , he was for many years the managing director of one of the leading heir investigation companies in Germany, was a director of the International Association of Heir Investigators (IAPPR) and has been honored several times for his work at the Probate Research Awards.

On April 18, 2024, ADD HOLSTEIN was honored as the best international company in the field of heir tracing at the Probate Industry Awards in London.

The international association of professional estate agents was founded in London in 2017 with the participation of our Managing Director Jan-Mathis Holstein. The now almost 20 member companies are committed to professionalizing the global heir search industry and have signed up to a common code of conduct.
