In our neighboring country France, the profession of heir investigator is much better known than in Germany. This is not only due to several nationally known TV formats, which look over the heirs' investigators' shoulders during their work. It has also been established in France for a long time that almost every inheritance case is checked by probate investigators, so that no heir or heiress is ignored in their inheritance rights.

In 2004, six French professional associations in the field ofgenealogyjoined forces to form the umbrella organization "Généalogistes de France". Approximately 95% of all professional genealogists belong to this association. These are more than 120 companies with a total of about 1000 employees. Through our partner company ADD Associés we are closely connected to our neighboring country and are declared specialists in the determination of heirs in France. For this reason, we and our employees are also proud members of the professional association since September 2022 and are subject to its professional ethical requirements.
